I have been trading with some overseas friends as intermediariy brokers in D2 and JetFuel. I have developed good Russian Mandates with Gazprom, Rosneft and Lukoil and my friends introduce the Buyers. One of my partners is a former oil minister in West Africa and another one has learned the trade from his father and he operates between Latin America and Miami. We exchange information on a daily basis such as LOI’s, (soft) Offers, ICPO’s, NCNDA/IMFPA etc and we have been doing this for well over a year now. My background is transportation. However I cannot help but wonder if we are going about this in the right way as sofar a deal has not been consummated for all sorts of reasons.
